Pauses is a performance recorded with four cameras from four different angles, which enables the performers as well as the audience to see themselves on screen. It was inspired by a performance by Zrinka Užbinec and Oliver Frljić two years earlier which evolves through its own repetition. Probing the contact with the bodies of the audience which prevents them from fulfilling their mission and makes the performance rather unpredictable. The performance is composed of three intertwined aspects (visuals, live performance and contact) and the space occupied by the audience that, along with the performers, plays a vital role in this performance.

Ana Kreitmeyer is a dancer, choreographer and a member of the collaborative performance collective BADco. from Zagreb. So far she has been a co-author within BADco., as well as the author of projects Pauses, KontAkt 1, Drunken Woods and short choreography Maybe Once, in collaboration with the choreographer Sandra Banić Naumovski. She is also active in the field of education, through contemporary dance classes and occasional workshops (usually in collaboration with other BADco. members) both in Croatia and abroad.

Zrinka Užbinec, a dancer with choreographic interest, a member of BADco. and one of the coordinators of the Experimental Free Scene (EkS-scena) – an independent organization founded with the aim of promoting and affirming contemporary dance and other forms of performing arts. She has collaborated with various authors and groups and occasionally holds contemporary dance classes and workshops.

Sandra Banić Naumovski is a dance artist who has performed in numerous projects by Croatian and international artists. She is the author of fifteen dance performances, shows and actions, in collaboration with other Croatian artists. In 2007 she received the CSA Annual Award for her work in managing and coordinating the work of EkS-scena (Experimental Free Scene). She is also a co-founder of the arts organization OOUR.
