Drugo more (The Other Sea) is a non profit organisation that produces, promotes, researches and disseminates culture. Working as an organisation in the field of arts and culture since 1999 – locally, regionally, internationally and interdisciplinary – we identify and explore topics of social relevance and of general interest to the community we all live in. Understanding art as an important cognitive tool, we connect our artistic program with topics relevant to contemporary science and social theory.
The organization is highly interdisciplinary and operates in various artistic fields. It is recognized for its gallery program Galerija DM (DM Gallery), the Zoom Performing Arts festival, the interdisciplinary event Moje, tvoje, naše (Mine, Yours, Ours), and the discursive program Refleks (Reflection). In addition to these ongoing programs, Drugo more organizes the DIY fair “3N” (Abandon Normal Devices) and carries out other activities such as research, education, publishing, production of artworks and film programs.
