Drugo More is involved in various projects, some are anually recurring, others are not. Here is a brief overview of some of our current activities.
Molekula
An association of 6 organisations from the independent cultural scene, running an open space for cultural activities. The association stems from a community project that gathered actors of the local independent cultural scene. In 2007, Molekula was founded as an association now occupies a 500sqm space in the port area, that hosts offices, a dance studio and a communal function room.
Zoom Festival for contemporary experimental theatre, September
An annual performance festival that offers a unique high quality programme to local audiences, specialising in contemporary and experimental performing arts. The focus of the festival is on works that combine different techniques, methods and expressions. Each year will highlight one author or scene, thus giving an in depth insight into the respective body of work marking their influence on the present art scene.
Mine, Yours, Ours interdisciplinary arts festival, October
A thematic, interdisciplinary annual festival that examines various aspects of social phenomena. Since 2005 the topics of resistance, solidarity, ownership, consumerism and transition have been discussed. The 2011 issue will deal with work.
Refleks
Refleks offers a platform for discussion with a series of debates, talks, lectures and presentations about current issues such as non-institutional theatre scene in the Balkans, appropriation of artworks, design in the independent cultural scene in Croatia etc.
