In the artistic project Put yourself in my place the artists Milijana Babić (Rijeka, HR) and Ida Hansson (Umeå, SE) exchange their living and working environments, with an aim of going through the experience of ‘another life’ in some other geographical corner of Europe. In the period of three weeks, each artist performs a series of actions inspired from the life of the other artist, looking at things from her own perspective and confronting herself.

Documentation of this project becomes a basis for the exhibition which will be presented in the context of the programme of European Culture Capital Umeå 2014.
