A conversation about artistic practices that evade presentational conventions, which involves Stephanie Wenner, Goran Sergej Pristaš and Thorsten Eibeler as disputants and Davor Mišković as moderator.

Western civilization designated special houses for artists to perform or show their works. In these houses there are rules, presentational conventions that determine the esthetical object and define what the work of art actually is. But, sometimes the comfort of the house causes discomfort, creating the need of going outside and making something different to escape from parental rules. History of art is a history of those coming-outs and of creating new structures. Artists, runaways, who participate in this conversation, apply their knowledge and skills on creating a spatial and temporal organization, which presents a shift from conventional expectations. Doing so, they are creating a framework of different kind of understanding between performers and audience. How and why they do it is the topic of this discussion.

The discussion will be in English, with German and Croatian accent.
