In Hero 4.0 – Business as Usual, the latest sequel in the „Heroes“ series, Kaurin and Weis once again question the very nature of theatre and the relationship between performers and audience. This time, they confront the relentless passage of time as an inescapable fact of both the theatrical and the human condition.

Through humour, self-irony and playful metatheatrical strategies, the performance continually exposes its own mechanisms of creation, dissolving the boundaries between rehearsal, performance and conversation with the audience. At the same time, it raises questions about responsibility, doubt, impermanence and the purpose of artistic practice, asking what remains when grand narratives, fixed convictions and predefined roles begin to disappear.

Hero 4.0 – Business as Usual is a witty and thought-provoking performance that does not treat its audience as passive observers, inviting them instead to become active participants in a shared search for meaning. And if, by the end, we feel that the time we have spent together has been “worth it,” they will know they have made good business.
